I am a adult fan of lego, mostly technic, the majority of my sets have been modified in one way or another.

    I have 4 19L flex axles in blue, but no where enough for this, so will be building it in red, great model by the way

    Ah yes forgot about them, although I used a 5L axle with axle connector and 2L black axle instead, also the centre dashboard cover which required blue axle pins to hold it in place, I just ended up pushing in a 2L axle in to locate it

    after finishing this model yesterday, am fully pleased with the finished car, although I have done a couple of mods to the car already;
    1- was to remove one of the adjusters/gear sets that raise the rear cover, so only one is really needed.
    2- a strengthening support on the rear top suspension arm, once lifted off its wheels the drop of the suspension made the axle connectors pull apart.
    3- not really a mod, but a slight redesign of the seat base, as the 1x4 thin liftarms in orange are quite rare, I used 1x4 with stud liftarm ( not so rare ) and 1x3 thin liftarm instead.
    hopefully another great model is being worked on, many thanks for sharing

    This is a great build, I think the instructions I have are relatively old, some sections you have to take apart and then reapply, especially fitting some sub assemblies, also apart from the 14L axles which are rather expensive (these can be reworked with 12L axles and extra connectors) the toggle connector (bricklink ref 44) is rather expensive in red also.
    PS, I have done the seats in red, which I think suits it better.
