I designed this TARDIS for a children's building event at Chicon 7, the 2012 World Science Fiction Convention.

It's not the most accurate TARDIS ever designed, but it's relatively inexpensive, and the parts are easy to source. The Police Box tiles are available as printed bricks from many brick printing and engraving services.

The photo shows a slightly modified version with the door ajar.
