I bought the instructions for this awesome looking MOC a few days ago and am currently working out which spares I need to order from BrickLink but the wheel covers used in this MOC are not in the list of parts here on Rebrickable so can anyone tell me what the part number is please?  I searched for "wheel covers" but could see anything that matched the wheel size used.
I also have to say I am somewhat disappointed and annoyed with the differences in the parts list to the instructions (as referred to below) - if it was free I could understand it but given we are paying for this MOC I would expect to be 100% correct.

The parts list is also missing 4 x 16L Red soft axles - 2 each used on pages 99 and 101 (used for the left and right front wheel guards).

        Hello,  Thanks for your purchase.
The wheel cover are comes from the 8145 GTB but are very expensive, that is why I have removed it : https://rebrickable.com/parts/58088/wheel-cover-7-spoke-with-axle-hole-56mm-d-fits-44772/
The red axle are not missing, they are replace by black one which is not visible in the mudguard.
I am sorry for the difference bewteen the instructions and part list, the part list comes from an enhanced edition for avoid rare parts but if nobody tell me the error, I can not rebuild each time the lmodel (I have only a very small collection) so I assume other buyer have figured out the problem with the parts in the rebrickable list, but I agree the PDF is not at the correct version, I will check why and edit a new one because all visual I have are good, except the page on the instructions. Feel free to comment if there are other mistakes, I will correct it.

Hi Nico, thanks for the reply. I apologise if I came across as angry, now that you've explained I understand :-)
It's a shame about the wheel covers as they look great but you're right, the are insanely expensive so will be skipping those.
I am about 1/4 of the way through and am really enjoying the build  - the instructions are very good indeed so far.  It was fascinating building the suspension. - what is that sort of lateral suspension called?  (I assume this is a real type of suspension)
Finally, you mentioned that you painted some parts - how do you do this (spray can or brush?) and what brand paint do you use?  Also, do you need to use an undercoat (or primer) or you just paint straight over the part?  I tried doing some chrome parts a while back but they looked awful so would be interested to know how you do it.

No problem at all, I need to figure out the difference in the instructions but should finished soon. I have not painted any parts on this creation, maybe you talk about the honda RA300 ? If yes, I paint the wheel with silver paintin in spray without preparation of the surface or primer.

Why is the parts list so different from what it's supposed to be? Light bluish grey wheels, no wheel covers, black soft axles... does this have any reason, besides costing less?
    • 2 years, 1 month ago Nico71 Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
it coulb be some wrong color eg light bluish grey and grey but the other variation is according the building instructions, and mochub in order to reduce cost as you said :)

It is normal, you will se some other change. I have made the free instructions at the beginning and next working on the sold on, with many enhancement regarding number of parts. consequently the bill of material is a little different (10 pars on 1500). Have a good building !

Thank you for sharing free instructions. I am nearly done building the model I just installed the roof and so far so good. That seat pieces was the only thing I noticed so far. It's a great build! Well done.

I see the difference between the instruction (5 euros) and this parts list. For example, 19L Axles and 18651 parts.
    • 4 years, 9 months ago Nico71 Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Thank you for your comment, can you write explicitely the mistakes ? In order I correct the rebrickable inventory :)
      • 4 years, 8 months ago ifilin Level 13
        paid instruction has bugs:
        1) On page 110 should be 2x19L Red Soft Axles, and 8x19L Red Soft Axles on page 120.
        2) On page 120 should be 4x11L Black Soft Axles instead of 6.
        3) On page 120 should be 2x12L Black Axles instead of 4.
        4) On page 119 should be 8x32013 Black instead of 10.

        Rebrickable bugs:
        1) Part 18651 is used 4 times instead of 2.
