Here's a new feature that I think will come in extremely handy. The new Compare Sets page (under the Sets menu) lets you pick two sets and see which parts they have in common and which parts from each set are unique.

First, simply enter two set ids (or MOC ids). You can use the magnifying glass to bring up a search box if you prefer. Click the Compare button when ready.

A simple side-by-side comparison of the two sets will be shown. First a summary of the number of parts they have in common. Click the "Show Parts" link to toggle display of these parts.

Under that, there are two columns of parts. The left column shows parts that are in the first set but not in the second. The right column shows parts that are in the second set but not in the first.

Not much to it really. Enjoy :)

This is a great feature, thank you! Have you considered expanding this to be able to input multiple sets at once? In other words, let a user input multiple sets and then cross-reference with the parts inventory of another set?

I wanted to keep this Compare Sets feature as simple as possible. You can achieve something similar with the Build functionality, and in fact the Compare Sets just calls the Build code behind the scenes.

Thanks for the "compare sets" feature, that's great.
But there something else I'm missing - or is it just that I'm blind: Is there a way to bookmark MOCs/sets within my account? Often I see something remarkable worth a closer look some time later, but up to now I manage this with bookmarking in the browser...

Once the 41999 Boss Crawler set is released in August 2013, one can easily compare it to the (similar) 9398 4x4 Crawler by using this new feature. Thanks for your excellent work!

This looks great - great help in deciding what set to target for future parts purchases because you can see what what _other_ set you will also be getting closer to. cheers.
